Student Linking
Parents find and link to you by searching your name or email. Once linked, you see all their jump tasks in your coach dashboard and can label, assign drills, and score.

💡 Parents can unlink at any time. You cannot force-link — linking is always parent-initiated.
Reviewing Student Tasks
Each jump task shows the AI-extracted frame sequence and biomechanical analysis. As a coach, you apply expert labels across 4 zones using 21 specialized tags. You can also manually set key phase frames (takeoff / apex / landing) to override AI detection.

Notes: Axis tilt worsens in the second half of rotation. Recommend core stability drills.
Phase Overrides
If AI's auto-detected takeoff / apex / landing frames are off, you can manually set the correct frame positions. This triggers a re-calculation of biomechanical data, ensuring analysis is based on the right key moments.
Expert Review Gate
Every AI diagnosis is expert-reviewed before it reaches the parent. This is what sets JumpOnion apart — we never release raw AI output without human verification.
Review Flow
Physics Anomaly Detection
The system automatically checks jump physics against professional biomechanical research. When anomalies are detected (e.g. unusually low airtime), these tasks are prioritized in your review queue. Your expert judgment determines the final outcome.
What do parents see while waiting?
Physics metrics (airtime, height, spin rate) are always visible. The AI narrative and personalized training plan are temporarily hidden — parents see a "Pending expert review" placeholder with 6 foundational drills (safe for all levels) until you sign off.
Assigning Drills
You can assign up to 3 targeted drills per jump task — your "Coach's Pick." Students see your picks first in their training plan, above the AI-generated recommendations.

IJS Technical Scoring
JumpOnion uses ISU 2025-26 base values to auto-calculate the Technical Element Score (TES). The system computes GOE (Grade of Execution) from your labels, and you can manually override the GOE value.

How GOE is calculated
Negative tags (under-rotation, fall, axis tilt) decrease GOE. Positive tags (good height, excellent landing) increase GOE. A clean exit detected by the AI P7 engine adds a bonus. You can override the auto-calculated GOE with the slider.
Prestige System
Prestige tiers recognize your commitment to the platform. The more jumps you review and students you guide, the higher your tier — a visible mark of your professional contribution.
